With the rise in candidates pursuing UX roles, how can you stand out? What can you do if you are mid-career and trying to figure out where you fit in? In this presentation you will learn why it’s important to apply UX principles to your career and personal brand. You will learn how to create a career roadmap to help create a framework for identifying and communicating who you are as a designer and which roles you should pursue next. 

Our Speaker

Sarah Doody is a UX Designer & Entrepreneur. She is Founder of the popular UX newsletter, The UX Notebook. She is a contributing author to InVision, UX Magazine, UX Mastery, UX Matters, and has been published in the New York Times.

In 2017 Sarah founded The UX Portfolio Formula, to help UX professionals learn how to articulate their work, create a portfolio, and navigate the job search. Her clients have been hired at companies including American Express, Home Depot, Facebook, Google, Amazon Salesforce, Deloitte, and Harvard.

Sarah created the curriculum for and taught General Assembly’s first 12-week UX immersive in 2011, the genesis of their popular UX programs which are now taught worldwide.
