I Dare you to try this Empathy Challenge

As UX professionals, we’re often asked to be the voice of the customer and lead our clients and teams to empathize with users. This interactive workshop will teach you a proven technique about how to unlock the power of conversations to better understand and design for customers. Get ready for a fast-paced, practical learning experience!

Our Speakers

Mona Patel is a dynamic entrepreneur with 17 years experience convincing leaders at some of the world’s biggest brands, including NASA, BMW, and Microsoft, to understand, value and optimize their customers’ experiences. As the CEO and Founder of Motivate Design, a user-centered design agency based in New York City, Mona developed the Reframework, an eight-step process that any company can use to innovate and design simple, beautiful experiences.

Mary Warren has a background in design strategy, qualitative and quantitative research, and project management. She has proved to be a powerhouse and influential member of our internal Research Sprint offering, Insider Insight, and has participated in all client engagements including ideation sessions, workshops and Sprints. Her current role as Client Engagement Manager keeps her busy when she’s not at home with her rescue cat, Oliver. Fun fact: Mary once fell off her chair at a Drake concert, a characteristic that feels defining

Melissa Beight is a Research and Strategy Associate at Motivate Design with a background in design strategy, qualitative and quantitative research, luxury retail and e-commerce. A recent graduate of the Strategic Design and Management program at Parsons, Melissa leads our Insider Challenges and Insider Insight client missions, while dipping her hands in workshop facilitation, ideation and UX research. When she’s not in the office, you can find her cooking Hello Fresh, drinking way too much water or scouting out the best place to dance.
